Sustainability should be an initiative that is incorporated into every artist’s tour and every festival weekend.  Sustainable practices are the best, and only, way for humans to give back to our Earth. Since concerts and festivals emit tons of pollution into our air, taking a sustainable stand allows us to fight against these polluters and help the environment. 

The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and spring has officially sprung in State College, which means BATTLE is here. This year BATTLE brought to the stage six talented acts including: Vicious Cyclists, Amelia & Sequoia, Natalie McMahon, Ham on a Stick, TUCK&ROLL and Sean.  Even though I loved every performance, there can only be one winner. The winner of BATTLE 2026 and opening act for Movin’ On is Amelia & Sequoia!

Meet the amazing student acts that will be performing at Schwab Auditorium this Tuesday for the chance to open up Movin’ On 2026! Now that this year's lineup is officially released to the world, we cannot help but notice one spot is empty- this year's student act performance. 

Melissa Zaffino, Movin’ On’s current Director of Sponsorship, will be stepping up to take on the position of Executive Director of Movin’ On for 2027. Melissa is a long-time member of this organization, loyal Movin’ On festival-goer, and State College native.
