Movin’ On is pleased to announce the lineup for BATTLE 2026!

Meet the amazing student acts that will be performing at Schwab Auditorium this Tuesday for the chance to open up Movin’ On 2026! Now that this year's lineup is officially released to the world, we cannot help but notice one spot is empty- this year's student act performance.

Movin’ On’s annual BATTLE is Tuesday, March 30th at 5:30 p.m., and here are the amazing student acts that will be battling it out.

Ham on a Stick is a five-piece rock band that draws influence from jam, funk and rock bands. They consist of Jack Warren (vocals/guitars), Nick Baldwin (bass), Matt Niemeyer (Guitar), Mike Morrone (drums) and Drew Young (keys). The band have been performing at bar shows since they formed and have enjoyed getting to play music with their friends. This BATTLE they are excited to compete against their fellow student musicians, and are also excited about their new album coming soon before moving out.

Ham on a Stick wants listeners to know that they have never repeated a setlist or show; so be prepared to hear something new and exciting from the band on Tuesday at BATTLE!

The Vicious Cyclists started in early 2025, and their dream is to create a vibrant community where no idea is over the top. The band consists of friends, and their formation happened very naturally. The band has been excited to perform around town during the semester, and are looking forward to the opportunity to compete at BATTLE.

The Vicious Cyclists are excited to share their music with new audiences and are gearing up for an epic BATTLE performance.

Tuck & Roll are a hard rock group who have a lot of laughs and great chemistry. The group consists of Liam A. (bass/vox), Rickey “Reckster” H. (drums) and Kyle A. (guitar), and they all find musical inspiration for Tuck & Roll from Queens of the Stone Age. They are excited to keep writing music together and seeing where new opportunities take them. Tuck & Roll wants audiences to know that they try to have fun with music, and that the names of the songs they will be singing at BATTLE do not match what the songs are about 90% of the time. Tuck & Roll are excited to see what their fellow student performers are performing at BATTLE and following in the footsteps of past BATTLE performers.

Sean will be performing pop/indie rock music with the band Field Day. Playing shows is a favorite memory of Sean, and they hope to share their music with the world one day. Sean’s biggest musical inspirations are flipturn, Jeff Buckley, Dayglow (hello Movin’ On 2024!) and Dominic Fike.

This will be their first time playing this specific set all together, so Sean is excited to put the show on for the audience!

Natalie McMahon is a folk singer and songwriter- she started writing songs at seven years old and has not stopped since. She will be joined on stage by her talented band members Sarah, Parkin and Kevin who she met during a Rock Ensemble class and their major of Music Technology. The group have performed at THON Final Four and are grateful for every opportunity they get to perform together.

Natalie McMahon wants everyone to wear their cutest cowgirl boots to BATTLE on Tuesday, and is excited to have fun performing with her amazing friends! Amelia & Sequoia is a collaborative funk-infused pop rock jame band between Amelia & the Bad Men and Sequoia. They first met through Jam Club and have added members & friends along the way. They are ready to go wherever the wind takes them and never take themselves too seriously. They are excited every time they get the chance to perform for the great State College community with their friends.

They are excited to share their music with audiences at BATTLE and get their name out there! You do not want to miss this year's BATTLE! We cannot wait to listen to these amazing student acts and see which one will be opening this years Movin’ On 2026!
