To quote Staten Harry’s iconic lip sync to Alejandro, “Come on, monsters! Let’s go! Everyone better be jumping!”

With the release of Lady Gaga’s new album, Mayhem, fans—new and old—are excited for this new era of the iconic artist. Taking inspiration from past albums, as well as some new ideas, Gaga has raised the bar once again for the pop scene.
The first song from the album to be released, Die With A Smile, features Bruno Mars, an unexpected match for most fans. Hitting the charts in August 2024, the song was a hit, taking the number one spot on the Billboard charts for weeks, and later on, winning a Grammy.
Before the release of the full album, Gaga dropped two more singles from Mayhem, which both performed well. Disease came out shortly after Die With A Smile, teasing the new album to unexpecting fans, especially after the recent release of 2024 album Harlequin that accompanied her feature in Joker 2.
Abracadabra made a huge impression on fans, with both the song and music video releasing during the 2025 Grammys. The music video brought energy that hadn’t been seen from Gaga since Artpop in 2014. The song and videos concept combined the newer sounds of Lady Gaga, with the campy aesthetics and beats of 2009 fresh on the scene Lady Gaga. Simply put, the arrival of this new album had fans buzzing.
The album brought out many memories of past iconic performances from Gaga. From her dive off the top of the stadium at the 2017 Superbowl, to her bleeding costume at the 2009 VMAs, time and time again, the singer has proven her talent for live performance.
Coachella 2025 proved that her talent for live performance isn’t going away anytime soon.
Headlining both Coachella 2025 week one and two, Lady Gaga proved that she is still one of the best performers in the game today. With her performance already taking a spot on the hottest pop culture moments of the year, a mesh of songs like Poker Face, Judas, Shallow, Abracadabra, and more showed Gaga’s versatility and talent in the genre. A variety of too many costume (and wig) changes to count and hardcore choreography kept audiences engaged for the nearly two hour long set.
Fans are excited to see what Gaga holds for the rest of the year, with the Mayhem tour starting at the end of May.
