Excited to come to Movin’ On’s 50th Anniversary on May 2nd? Get to know our headliner, rock band The All-American Rejects!

Headlining the festival, The All-American Rejects will be the last of the artists performing at the IM Fields, performing after rapper, Pusha T.
Forming in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999, the band was brought together by core band members,Tyson Ritter (vocals/bass) and Nick Wheeler (guitar/drums). Ritter and Wheeler performed together as teenagers, creating the band with Ritter’s lyrics and Wheeler’s guitar hooks.
Quickly, The All-American Rejects became pop-rock icons in the early 2000s. Their first album, self-named, was released in 2002. Their song “Swing, Swing” stood out, launching the band into the mainstream fast. They gained popularity due to their relatable music and live show performances.
Their next album, released in 2005, was named “Move Along,” solidifying the band’s reputation. Songs like “Dirty Little Secret” became a commercial success. This album became a staple for young adults and adolescence, capturing an angst and hope in the music.
Three years later, their next album, “When the World Comes Down,” grew with their audience, producing a more mature sound and themes. More commercial success was found with this album, with “Gives You Hell” becoming one of the biggest hits from the band.
As of 2025, The All-American Rejects says that “their journey is far from over.” They hope to keep performing as forces in the pop-rock industry. Their most recent song, “Flagpole Sitta,” released on April 13th and is available on all music streaming platforms. The band will also join the Jonas Brothers this year on tour!
Movin’ On is so grateful to have The All-American Rejects headline at Movin’ On’s 50th anniversary!
