Highlights From the 2026 Grammys Nominations

Grammys season is officially upon us! 

The nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced.

This year’s ceremony will see returning winners like Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Sam Smith, and Mumford & Sons take the stage as presenters. As presenters, they’ll have the honor of announcing and handing off Grammy awards to this year’s newest winners.

This year's performers have not been announced at this time, but we can expect another huge performance from all the nominees of the Best New Artist category that was a huge success at the 2025 Grammys. Being able to hear and see the talent from these nominees made the last awards ceremony incredibly special. 

This year’s Best New Artist lineup includes Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, The Marías, Addison Rae, sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young. It’s a stacked category filled with artists who have broken into both the industry and the public spotlight this year.

The 2026 Grammys will feature two new categories for artists to win awards in- Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover. The Recording Academy added these new categories to honor the ever-changing craft of music and artistry. 

Several of everyone's favorite artists are nominated for several awards at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony. Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and Kendrick Lamar are all nominated for the Big 3 awards. 

The Big 3 at the Grammy Awards are Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year. These are the most anticipated awards of the night, so much so that people stay up all night to see who will be the winner. It will also be exciting to watch these artists compete in other major categories such as Best Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Other notable names and albums that are up for an award this year include Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars & ROSÉ and Hayley Williams. These artists are nominated for awards outside of the Big 3, but are still at the top of their game. 

Some first time nominees include: Tate McRae, YUNGBLUD, Djo and even Timothée Chalamet. Many artists emerged into the mainstream music scene this year and are rightfully getting their nominations for their craft. 

The 2026 Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, February 2. From now until then, expect a wave of campaigns and posts from nominated artists as they compete for the most coveted honors in music.
