Bad Bunny has been named the headlining artist for Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.
Born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, this is his first time headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show but not his first time performing on the Halftime stage. Bad Bunny joined Jennifer Lopez and Shakira as a feature at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show where the two women headlined. Bad Bunny is turning over a new page in the Super Bowl history book as he will be the first Latino solo artist to headline.

Bad Bunny is not a new face in the music scene; his career is already stacked. He is a 3-time Grammy winning artist and number one most-streamed artist in the world. Bunny started topping the charts early into his career as his 2020 album El Último Tour del Mundo was the first all-spanish album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He is also a frequent guest star and performer on the hit late night show Saturday Night Live.
Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny took up a Latin-rap style of music with many cultural influences highlighting his Puerto Rican background. He has cited the Latin artist Daddy Yankee saying his reggae sound has influenced his music greatly. Like many artists, Bad Bunny started his career by posting on the music sharing platform SoundCloud. His song “Diles”, released in 2016, blew up in popularity on the platform and resulted in Bunny receiving multiple calls from producers. In 2018, the singer recorded the hit single “I Like It” alongside Cardi B and J Balvin, which got the three artists a Grammy nomination and Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 spot. Bunny continued his success with his albums El Último Tour del Mundo and Un Verano Sin Ti both winning Best Música Urbana Album at the Grammys.
In January 2025, Bad Bunny released his sixth album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and the album instantly took over the Billboard Global 200 and Hot 100 charts. Bunny has since announced a tour which is set to start in November 2025 and conclude in July 2026 with dates all over Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The singer has notably left out shows in the United States, fearing ICE raids could occur at the shows. He began a 31-show residency in Puerto Rico called No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí (I Don't Want to Leave Here). Bad Bunny continues to spread in popularity all over the world, staying at the top of the Latin music scene.
