A Look Into Movin’ On’s 2026 Executive Board

It’s that time of the year again; your Movin’ On 2026 Executive Board members have been chosen! Year-round, the Movin’ On Executive Board works hard to lead the organization into creating the beloved end of year concert for Penn State students. Here’s a look at the ten members of the 2026 board.

Allie Riegel: Executive Director
Allie Riegel has been named the new Executive Director of Movin’ On. Riegel has previously held positions like Promotion (PROMO) team member, PROMO captain, and Director of Operations. Originally from Northern Virginia, Riegel came to Penn State to study Public Relations and minor in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Management. She also has an internship at the Bryce Jordan Center and is the Director of Relations for Penn State Music Group (PSMG). Riegel said she’s most looking forward to experiencing the news artists and engagements for Movin’ On 2026. She also said she can’t wait to ‘produce the magic of Movin’ On with this incredible team!’

Logan Powell: Senior Director
Senior Director for Movin’ On 2026 is Logan Powell. Powell currently holds this position and has previously been on the PROMO team and Operations Coordinator. She is currently majoring in Communications Sciences and Disorders and minoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Powell is from Spring Mills, right outside State College, and said freshman year load-in is her favorite Movin’ On memory. She is excited to work with her team this upcoming year and send off another group of great seniors.

Jace Petrovich: Director of Production
Jace Petrovich will be Movin’ On’s 2026 Director of Production. Petrovich is currently Director of Production but has also been on the production team as a coordinator as a Battle Lighting designer and co-designer. Petrovich came to Penn State all the way from Spring, Texas to study Theatre Design & Technology with an emphasis on Lighting Design. He was a 2025 THON Dancer Relations Committee member and is currently a Lighting Designer for the School of Theatre at Penn State and works at Trader Joes. He said he is looking forward to ‘doing it all over again’ and setting the standard for Movin’ On for the next 50 years.

Melissa Zaffino: Director of Sponsorship
Melissa Zaffino is stepping up to be 2026’s Director of Sponsorship. Zaffino is from State College, PA and is currently studying Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Sports Studies and receiving a Smeal College of Business certificate. She also works as a Strategic Communications Intern with Penn State Athletics and has previously been a Social Media Coordinator and Merchandise Manager for Movin’ On. Zaffino said her favorite memory from Movin’ On is seeing the behind the scenes work that went into creating Movin’ On’s ice cream flavor at the creamery to work on advertising for Movin’ On’s commemorative flavor. She said growing up in State College she has many fond memories of The Creamery but never saw the production side of it. She is extremely excited to be involved in Movin’ On at a higher level and learn the nuances of the music industry.

Matthew Westmoreland: Creative Director
Matthew Westmoreland was named one of the Creative Directors for Movin’ On 2026. Westmoreland has previously been a videographer for Movin’ On and is currently in the Penn State Snowboarding Club and DKA, a gender inclusive cinematic fraternity. He is from Richmond, Virginia and came to Penn State to study Film Production with a minor in English. His favorite Movin’ On memory is getting the opportunity to meet Dayglow while moving shirts last year.

Julia Jankiewicz: Creative Director
Julia Jankiewicz was named as the second Creative Director for this upcoming year. She is currently studying marketing and is in Delta Kappa Alpha along with training to be a tour guide for Penn State Undergraduate Admissions. Her favorite memory from her time as a PROMO team member and Battle Representative is bonding with so many people and hearing Fez won Battle from backstage. She said she is looking forward to being a part of the creative journey for Movin’ On and collaborating with so many talented people.

Nathan Ra: Association of Residence Hall Students (ARHS) Liaison
Nathan Ra will be the Liaison for ARHS this upcoming year. He has previously held positions like Band Representative on the PROMO team and Battle Coordinator. From Yardly, PA he’s currently studying Mechanical Engineering and is on the executive team for Second Floor Stand Up Comedy. His favorite memories from his time at Movin’ On were load in and out for Movin’ On 2023 and he is most looking forward to working with a new team this upcoming year.

Sophia Krinsky: Director of Operations
Sophia Krinsky has been named Director of Operations this year. Krinsky is currently studying Telecommunications & Media Industries, Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Recreation, Park and Tourism Management. She has previously been a PROMO team member and Communications Coordinator and is currently in Trilogy. Her favorite memory is meeting the 502s last year during her first festival and she is most looking forward to seeing all the artists.

Brooke Casey: Director of Events
The 2026 Director of events is Brooke Casey. Casey is from Dallas, PA and is currently an After the Whistle Executive Producer, THON R&R Volunteer and CommRadio Member and has previously been an Event Coordinator for Movin’ On. She is studying Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sports Studies. Her favorite memory was after the first acoustic roadshow in 2024-2025 where many members had to fit into one car. She is most looking forward to playing a part in organizing Movin’ On’s 51st concert.

Dominic DiFrancesco: Director of Public Relations
Lastly, Dominic DiFrancesco was named this year's Director of Public Relations. DiFrancesco is currently this year's Director of PR and has previously held positions of Events Coordinator ('23) and PR Coordinator ('24). DiFrancesco came to Penn State from Philadelphia to study Marketing and Vocal Performance with a minor in Business Law. He is also a member of Shades of Blue, a Penn State acapella group, and Penn State Glee Club. His favorite memories are watching Dayglow’s set and load out at Movin' On 2024. He is looking forward to making Movin’ On ‘bigger and better than before.’
