Battle 2025 Line-Up Released!

Movin’ On Battle is around the corner!  What is Battle? Battle is a competition that allows local bands and artists a chance to open for Movin’ On’s 50th Anniversary Show, on the IM Fields May 2!  BATTLE will be at Schwab Auditorium on March 4th, doors will open at 5pm and the show begins at 5:30! 

So, who’s competing? For BATTLE 2025 we have:

Golden Achumba, an R&B Hip Hop soloist, making his second appearance on the battle stage and – fun fact — is also number 78 on the Penn State Football team. 

Swervo Staacks, a rap soloist, also making his second appearance at battle. 

Forrester Grey, a indie/alternative band. they performed in battle back in 2023 and are back to compete again.

Amelia & The Bad Men, a pop rock band, new to the Battle stage, and debuted back in October. 

Fez, a punk/alternative rock band, another new group to the battle stage, with music from across their album and eps.

Just, an Indie rock band, is another first timer, released their first album back in july 2024.

Little Blue & The Stargazers, an indie latin fusion band, are also performing at battle for the first time, and they starred in one of SPA’s noontime performances earlier this year.

And finally, The Sunday Love Club, an alternative rock band, are celebrating their first time at battle, releasing their most recent single a month ago.

It’s sure to be an exciting competition! We’ll see you March 4 at Schwab!
